Patrick Clark
I am currently in my final semester of the Dual Master of Finance/Master of Business Analytics program at the University of Iowa. Prior to my graduate studies, I earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from Coe College.
To date, I have honed my valuation and modeling skills as an Equity Research Analyst for the Henry Fund and gained corporate experience as a Finance & Accounting Intern at HNI Corporation.
As a member of the Hart Fund, I am excited to gain hands-on experience in fixed-income portfolio management and look forward to applying my diverse skillset to the finance industry following graduation in May 2026.
Jacob Czechyra
I am a Bachelor of Finance student graduating in May 2026. Upon graduation, I intend to obtain my Series 7, Series 66, and CFP certifications and pursue a career in wealth management or portfolio management. I am also considering continuing my education with a Master of Finance.
Carter Diebold
I am currently in the final year of the Master of Finance program at Iowa, graduating in May 2026. Previously, I graduated from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business with a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.B.A. in Economics in May 2025. After graduation, I will be working in BMO ’s Commercial Analyst Development Program in Chicago.
Jack Gorsche
I am in my final semester at the University of Iowa, pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with double majors in Finance and Accounting. I am a member of the Henry Fund, where I gain hands-on experience in equity research, valuation, and portfolio analysis within a student-managed investment fund. I have passed the CFA Level I examination and am currently studying for the CFA Level II exam, which I plan to take in August. After graduation, I am interested in pursuing a career in high finance where I can apply my background in valuation, financial modeling, and investment analysis.
Sean Haggerty
I am in my final semester of the Master of Finance and Business Analytics dual program at the University of Iowa and am expected to graduate in May 2026. This past summer, I interned at Aflac Global Investments in New York, NY working with their credit, quantitative, and FP&A teams. Upon graduation, I will be working as an investment analyst for Modern Woodmen of America in Rock Island, IL.
Jacob Heinrich
I am currently a senior at the University of Iowa, pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance in the Tippie College of Business. Most recently I interned at Wintrust Financial, working in the retail and commercial banking divisions. After graduation I am looking to pursue a career in fixed income asset management.
Cody Hotman
I am in my final semester of the Master of Science in Finance program at the University of Iowa and will graduate this May. I am currently working part time as a wealth management assistant at GreenState Credit Union and previously interned there as a wealth management intern. Upon graduation, I plan to continue developing my skill set within the wealth management field and am pursuing an advisory role.
Bryson Iske
I am a dual Master's student in the Business Analytics and Finance programs and I will be graduating in May 2026. I obtained my Bachelor's in Business Analytics from the University of Northern Iowa in May of 2024. After graduation, my plan is to search for Consulting and Financial Analyst roles.
Jaleah Klein
I am in my final semester at the University of Iowa, where I am studying Finance and Risk Management and Insurance. I previously interned at Principal in Des Moines and will be joining their Financial Analyst Rotation Program after I graduate in May.
Tim Ottesen
I am in my final semester at Iowa, earning a dual BBA in Economics and Finance. Here, I have developed a passion for analyzing trends and evaluating trade-offs to optimize financial decision-making. Upon graduation, I plan to sit for the CFA and pursue a career in financial services.
Landon Skinner
I am a dual Master’s candidate in Finance and Business Analytics at the University of Iowa, scheduled to graduate in May 2026. In May 2024, I graduated from Grinnell College with a Bachelor of Arts in General Science. Outside of the Hart Fund, I serve as a Finance Intern at Union Pacific, the President of the Quantitative Finance Club, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Data Wrangling. My prior experience includes a Tax internship at Eide Bailly and a role as an analyst for the Henry Fund. I am pursuing a career in Asset Management or Equity Research where I can apply my background in data science, financial modeling, and quantitative analysis to solve complex market puzzles.
Colton Wagner
I am a graduate student at the University of Iowa pursuing a master’s degree in finance and analytics. I earned my bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Lock Haven University, where I built a strong foundation in financial reporting and analysis. I also gained hands-on professional experience as a bookkeeping intern at JEB Environmental Technologies. Upon graduation, I plan to sit for the CPA exam and pursue a career as a CPA financial advisor.
